Young Volunteers

You have a dream project or an original idea to get involved?

Young Volunteers is a program offering young adults the opportunity to acquire skills while working on a project of their own design, in groups or individually.

Thanks to Young Volunteers, you can build a project in an area that interests you: communications, tourism, environment, community services, agriculture, or any other field.

Young Volunteers

  • Aged 16 to 29.
  • Not working or studying full time.
  • Studying part-time.

Other Criteria

  • The project may be presented by a single person or a group of up to seven (7) young people.
  • You will need a mentor: someone who will commit to helping you voluntarily in your project. It could be someone from a non-profit organization, a private company or a person connected to the selected field.
  • Your project can last 9 to 52 weeks.
  • You will have to devote at least 20 hours per week to your project.

Financial Aid

If your project is accepted by the advisory committee, Emploi-Québec will determine and grant you employment assistance and an operating budget for the project expenses.
