The organization provides quality professional services to clients to help them enter or re-enter the labour market in order to improve their quality of life.
The Centre d’Intégration Jeunesse Adulte (CIJAd) provides specialized job search, educational and vocational counselling, and entrepreneurship awareness services.
These bilingual services are offered free of charge to residents over 16 years of age from Longueuil, Brossard, Saint-Hubert, Boucherville, Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Saint-Lambert, Greenfield Park and LeMoyne.
The services are offered to people either receiving employment assistance or with no income from public funds, and having trouble integrating the job market.
As per the Carrefour Jeunesse-Emploi de Laporte (CJE), it provides the same services to young people aged 16 to 35, regardless of their financial or social situation.
Different programs for teens and young adults are also offered, such as Jeunes en action, IDEO 16-17 and Young Volunteers.
The CIJAd and CJE leaders have always been active in their communities, next to their partners and other organizations helping in any way with the development of the South Shore population employability. They take part in various round tables to increase the efficacy of all actions and meet their objectives.

1983 : Creation of the Centre d’Intervention Jeunesse (CJI) for people aged 16 to 30: professional services of job search assistance. Funded by the Ministry of Labour and Income Security and recognized as an external employment service (SEMO).
1991 : The CIJ changes its name to the Centre d’Intégration Jeunesse Adulte (CIJAd): assistance center for people aged 16 to 65 receiving income security.
1999 : Opening of Carrefour Jeunesse-Emploi de Laporte within the corporation: employability services as well as educational and vocational counselling. It helps people aged 16 to 35, regardless of their financial or social situation.
